He lead one of the most successful congressional campaigns in history, as the most popular candidate in the 2024 Congressional Special Elections. | |||
Because of a lack of opposition, his election was called, and was formally sworn in on January 1st, 2025. That same day, the House Republican Conference met, and Richard Tentacles was unanimously elected the House Minority Whip. He has been re-elected by the republican conference since then, becoming the House Majority Whip. | |||
