Matteo Hall (born October 20, 1978) is an American diplomat, politician, businessman, and military officer. He is known for his roles in both domestic and international politics, as well as his leadership in business and the armed forces.
Early Life and Education
Matteo was born on October 20, 1978, in South Lake City, Utah, United States, to a military and political family. His father, Admiral Thomas Hall, served as a senior officer in the United States Navy. Growing up in a middle-class family with a strong military presence, Matteo was inspired to pursue a career in service. His father passed away weeks before Matteo left for Harvard University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor degree.
Military Career
Matteo served in the United States Army as a Captain in the 75th Ranger Regiment from 2002 to 2019. During his time in the Army, he participated in multiple high-profile military operations and earned recognition for his leadership skills, tactical expertise, and physical resilience. In 2019, Matteo transitioned to the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Lieutenant Colonel until 2025.
He also founded Suburbia Solutions, a private military company contracted by the U.S. government to support troops in conflict zones. Additionally, Matteo worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), focusing on intelligence gathering and national security.
